About Us – The Story Behind Pelo's Atelier
It all began in a field – with a neighbor, their permission, and an armful of pampas grass.
What seemed like a whimsical idea at the time was the first step towards what Pelo's Atelier is today. It wasn't a grand plan, no elaborate concept – just an idea, a little courage, and the belief that something beautiful could emerge from simple things. From the self-picked pampas grass came the first dried flower wreaths – handmade, with great patience, sometimes with sore fingers, and always with a feel for beauty.
The Beginning – More Beautiful Than Simple
What might look easy from the outside rarely was. The first steps were marked by trying things out, failing, and starting over. Which materials would last? Which shapes would work? How do you package something so that it brings a smile when opened? Each question led to new attempts, each attempt to new knowledge. There were moments of doubt – whether it all made sense, whether anyone would be interested, whether the effort was worth it.
But then came the first feedback. A smile. A "This is exactly what I envisioned." A photo of a bride holding the custom-made dried flower bouquet. And suddenly it was clear: it was worth it. More than that – it meant something.
